Since 1968 when this building was originally built as a school it's always had the purpose of building community, connecting people, empowering them, teaching them and more. When the school shut down this stopped ... our aim is to bring that purpose back.
A community hub to offer a space for people to visit, feel welcomed, meet others, share skills and ideas and engage in activities both new and familiar.
Will you partner with us to ensure The Old School Hub remains open and available to serve it's local community?
We estimate it costs £5000 a year to heat & maintain the building, maybe you could consider a monthly donation to help cover some of this cost.
Anything you can give would be a great help.
As The Old School Hub grows and develops there's lots for people to get involved in. Why not come join us at one of our regular groups?
A wonderful serenity has taken possession of my entire soul, like these sweet mornings of spring which I enjoy with my whole heart
Love this place! Lovely little community centre in the hamlet of Luthrie. Used to be an old primary school that my wife attended, now slowly being transformed into a community centre for the locals to use. Lots of family friendly events available, our kids loved the recent Puppet workshop. We also attend the weekly coffee morning, every Monday from 10am till midday. People are so friendly and lots of toys for the kids. Thanks for making the place so welcoming.
There's always plenty going on at The Old School Hub, why not come join us?
Come join us for tea / coffee / juice and cakes in a relaxed environment. Perfect for any age.
For families we have an adjoining room with craft table & lots of toys.
